One of the best tools of marketing is customer validation, this is a core belief of Darktrace marketing. This is harnessed in the form of Customer Case study videos, which are two to four minute talking head videos highlighting key elements of the Darktrace product suit.

The case studies were predominantly filmed at summits and big events by external production companies. Upon receiving the footage a review cycle began with a member of the content marketing team, selecting the best, and most desirable sections to use in the final case study. A mixture of stock footage & product B-roll was used to hide cuts, and create a more visually interesting viewing experience.

Multiple language subtitles were created for key case study video, for use in non english speaking regions. These subtitle tracks were created as srt files which could be uploaded to online video players, as well as being baked into the MP4 files for use at offline events. Opting for srt files over a burnt in option, allows for multiple subtitle tracks to exist on the same video and eliminates duplication of assets.
