An on running responsibility while working for Broadway Malyan was designing and art-working magazine adverts. The adverts were published in architecture related publications as well as programs and event books for award shows.
The adverts produced crossed multiple languages and regions with a few needing to be bilingual.
The hardest part of working on the adverts was the selecting the right sketch. The sketches needed to be tonally corrected and also shaped to allow for text to be placed alongside it.
Preparing the sketches for use in advertising presented there own challenges as well. The sketches which were tonally correct for the companies image were always high concept sketches with lots of loss scribbling and minor mistakes. Cleaning the sketches became a delicate task for removing major imperfections but also leaving in minor ones to keep the look and feel organic.
